After nearly tripping over one in the Beetle Forest (I was lucky to escape with only a few wounds at that time), I crossed paths with even more Marrdreg in the Dragonfly Forest. Master Koris once told me that he set up his home to be close to the border between the Beetle and Dragonfly, so it makes sense that these Divine Beasts would cross that border as he does. I was aware that the main doors to the forest formed a traditional, but superfluous, hub; and that in reality the forests themselves are not so separate. Does Koris actually need the 'key' to cross the barrier or do we only use it for the entrances in the Barrier Gate? I suppose if the beasts can pass between the internal barriers, but not the Barrier Gate (until the Onibubu somehow managed it...), then the doors at the gate must be stronger, right?
